Welcome to 'Gut Centre' 2024

The Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) is excited to bring you Gut Centre - Alice Springs, a four day three evening educational and training program. This year’s program brings together specialists and experts from Alice Springs and from across Australia in liver and gut health.

GESA is committed to improving health equality for all Australians living in Regional, Remote and Indigenous communities.

GESA supports the continued high standard of healthcare in rural and regional areas by supporting clinical practice, research, education and teaching for those working in regional and remote areas in gastroenterology and hepatology.

The Program convenors of the GESA Gut Centre Program; Benedict Devereaux, Kirsty Campbell, Alice Bennett and Lauren Beswick have compiled an impressive program of leading speakers and facilitators.

The evening sessions are being live streamed from Alice Springs.  We encourage all to attend the live streams. Alice Springs will be the nation’s centre for gastroenterology and liver education from 13 to 16 August 2024.
