Emma Steiger

Emma Steiger is an enthusiastic clinical dietitian, working across a variety of clinical areas. She has worked at Alice Springs Hospital for over 18 months and loves the diversity this role brings.

Emma completed her dietetic training at Monash University in Melbourne, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical nutrition. She continued to advance these skills in her professional career working across aged care, acute and sub-acute settings in Melbourne, before making the move to the Territory.
Outside of her professional endeavours, Emma enjoys exploring the beautiful surrounds of Alice Springs, hiking, camping, travelling and reading. She looks forward to today's discussion on the nutritional impacts of chronic pancreatitis, specifically in the rural and remote setting.

Emma is currently working in paediatrics, critical and acute care. She has a keen interest in rural and remote health, gastroenterology and oncology and looks forward to continuing to support all patients to achieve their best nutritional outcomes.
