Dr Anil Asthana

Dr Anil Asthana has expertise in intestinal ultrasound in IBD and functional gut disease. He is based in Melbourne and is the founding Chair of GENIUS, GESA- private practice network and IBUS committee (International Bowel Ultrasound). He completed his fellowship from both Italy and Germany and has published widely in the subject of intestinal ultrasound. Dr Asthana is involved with the Department of Health for medical governance related matters and works in private practice as well as teaching medical students and GIUS.
