The Research Workshop is designed to provide a research forum for the exchange of ideas, and to forge collaborations between GESA investigators, physicians, and PhD Scholars, post-graduate scientists, career clinical and science researchers, practicing gastroenterologists and hepatologists.

In a more intimate setting, the Research Workshop has a focused audience; gastroenterologists and hepatologists who work in multidisciplinary teams who undertake research. This provides opportunities to present the latest research and be challenged with research assumptions and approaches with work currently undertaking.
