Catherine Wall
Dr Catherine Wall is a clinical and academic New Zealand registered dietitian in Christchurch. Dr Wall is the Expert IBD Dietitian at Christchurch Hospital, a Research Fellow in Department of Medicine, University of Otago Christchurch and is a member of the GUTS research group and the Dietitian Crohn’s Colitis Australian Network - DECCAN. After her PhD, investigating nutritional therapy in Crohn’s disease, Dr Wall completed a post-doctoral fellowship at King’s College London, United Kingdom. In 2020, Dr Wall received a New Zealand Health Research Council Emerging Researcher Grant to investigate preoperative nutritional therapy in Crohn’s disease. Her current research interests are perioperative dietary therapies in IBD and bowel cancer and chronic fatigue in IBD.
