De Charlotte Daker is a Consultant Gastroenterologist in Auckland, New Zealand, where she specializes in Neurogastroenterology and Motility. She also holds roles as an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Auckland. She has founded the New Zealand Neurogastroenterology and Motility Network, who enjoyed their inaugural meeting last month, aiming to foster education, collaboration and progress in this field. Her research interests lie in gastric myoelectrical function and high resolution body surface mapping on which she is widely published. She is a member of the Ascona International working group on gastroduodenal disorders. Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Daker finds joy in her hobbies, particularly her love for rock music and participation in Ironman triathlons.
