Dr Fariha Balouch
Dr Fariha Balouch graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College, University of Punjab in Lahore, a prestigious institute in Pakistan.
She undertook general paediatric training in University teaching hospitals in Pakistan, Oman then Australia and completed Paediatric Gastroenterology training at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Brisbane now called the Queensland Children's Hospital (QCH).QCH provides high-level specialist paediatric gastroenterology services for Queensland. At completion of her training she was offered a position at QCH as a clinical lead in Liver Transplant and as a senior member of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) service.
She has interests in research and education.
