Dr. Jeyamani Ramachandran is an overseas trained gastroenterologist and hepatologist, with extensive clinical and research experience from an internationally renowned tertiary hospital and academic centre in India. After migrating to Australia, she obtained her FRACP in in 2016 and PhD in 2020. She has been employed as a transplant hepatologist in the Hepatology and Liver Transplantation Medicine Unit at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide since 2016. She has an active clinical and research career with 60 peer reviewed publications to her credit. Her extensive research interests include models of care in cirrhosis, community care in cirrhosis, long term abdominal drains in cirrhosis, cardiac complications in liver transplant patients, and donor specific antibodies in liver transplantation.
