Associate Professor Kate Muller is the Acting Head of Hepatology and Liver Transplant Medicine at Flinders Medical Centre and holds academic status at Flinders University. She trained in Gastroenterology at Flinders Medical Centre and the Scottish Liver Transplant Unit at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Scotland. Assoc Prof Muller has completed a PhD in hepatitis research at the University of Adelaide. She has been a member of the Australian Liver Association committee and GESA Liver Faculty, and on the AGW scientific program committee. Assoc Prof Muller has been involved in the development of national consensus statements in hepatocellular carcinoma and metabolic-associated fatty liver disease. She is the Director of Clinical Trials within the Department of Hepatology at Flinders Medical Centre.
