Dr Kathleen McGrath is a Paediatric Gastroenterologist at the Royal Children’s Hospital specialising in all areas of gastrointestinal and liver disease in infants and children, with a special interest in the management of intestinal failure, complex nutritional problems and food allergy. She graduated from the University of Sydney and undertook her paediatric training at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, during which time she held the role of Chief Resident Medical Officer. Following this, she undertook an overseas clinical fellowship focussed on intestinal failure and clinical nutrition at Birmingham Children’s Hospital in the United Kingdom. She has published in multiple international peer-reviewed journals in her field and has a strong interest in medical education and training, completing the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Education at the University of Melbourne in 2023.
