Kylie James

Dr Kylie James is head of the Gut Immunogenomics Laboratory. She completed a PhD in 2017 and then undertook postdoctoral training at the Wellcome Sanger Institute in the UK spearheading the Human Gut Cell Atlas. In 2021, Kylie returned to Australia to start her team as Spinak Fellow and supported by an NHMRC Investigator Grant. Her research team investigates how cells and the microbiota contribute to intestinal disease using single-cell and spatially-resolved transcriptomics.
