Dr Marcus Robertson is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist currently working at Monash Health. Marcus undertook his specialist Gastroenterology training at Monash Medical Centre and the Austin Hospitals. In 2014 and 2015, Marcus moved to Scotland to further his training and undertook a Hepatology and Liver Transplant Fellowship at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. During this time he wrote a number of book chapters for medical textbooks, including the Oxford Textbook of Medicine. Marcus has published research articles in the fields of liver transplantation, endoscopy, gastrointestinal bleeding and liver conditions such as hepato-renal syndrome. In 2014, he was nominated for the Young Investigator of the Year award for research he presented to the Australian Gastroenterology Week conference.
