Michael MacIsaac

Michael is currently one of the interventional endoscopy fellows at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and is completing a PhD with the University of Melbourne. Michael graduated from the University of Melbourne Medical School in 2015 and received awards for excellence in research in his final year. He completed his physician and gastroenterology training at St Vincent’s Hospital and Monash Health, before commencing his PhD through the University of Melbourne. The focus of his PhD is developing models of care for marginalised populations to access testing and treatment for hepatitis C.  He has a dual interest in endoscopy and hepatology and is pursuing further subspeciality training opportunities in both disciplines.
