Michael Wallace is a Consultant Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist who graduated from the University of Western Australia and underwent specialist training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital. After completing his specialist training, Dr Wallace undertook a Post-doctoral Fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City where his research areas included hepatocellular carcinoma and the treatment of liver fibrosis. Research interests centre around aspects of hepatocellular carcinoma including epidemiology, staging and management decisions, and novel PET tracers for treatment response.
