Professor Michael Wehrhahn

Prof Michael Wehrhahn completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Sydney before commencing specialist training in Perth in 2005. Experience gained at Royal Perth Hospital, Fremantle Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital for Children was complemented by further periods at Liverpool, Royal North Shore and Westmead Hospitals. He is actively involved in research on the clinical and laboratory aspects of a range of microorganisms and is a reviewer for a number of journals. Serving as a member on a number of hospital infection control committees, he is also an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Medicine, Sydney Campus at the University of Notre Dame. He also provides an infectious diseases consulting service to Mater Hospital, Lady Davidson Rehabilitation Hospital and Mt Wilga Rehabilitation Hospital.
