Dr Milan Bassan

Dr Bassan is a consultant gastroenterologist, therapeutic endoscopist and the Head of Department, Endoscopy at Liverpool Hospital. He undertook his general gastroenterology training in New South Wales and subsequently undertook clinical fellowships in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at Westmead Hospital and at the Therapeutic Endoscopy Group at St Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, Canada. He has a particular clinical interest in therapeutic endoscopy especially novel techniques in endoscopic management of acute gastrointestinal emergencies, GI bleeding, complex ERCP, advanced endoscopic resection techniques (EMR and ESD), POEM and therapeutic EUS.
