Ryan M Mathias

Ryan Mathias is a gastroenterologist and PhD candidate at the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Service at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and The University of Adelaide. His research currently focuses on the validation of intestinal ultrasound in luminal contents, particularly how it can be applied to assessing functional gut disorders. After completing a graduate degree studying intestinal inflammation in Calgary, Canada, he moved to Australia to complete his medical training at Flinders University and advanced training in Adelaide.
