Saurabh Gupta

Dr Gupta is a Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist, specialising in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. His interests include endoscopic oncology involving pancreatic and biliary disease, including therapeutic EUS and ERCP, endoscopic resection of advanced neoplasia including “third space” endoscopy, and assessment of small bowel disorders. Dr Gupta is also passionate about metabolic endoscopy and obesity endotherapy. In 2018, he convened the “Inaugural Bariatric and Metabolic Endoscopy Symposium” at the Sydney Adventist Hospital demonstrating various bariatric endotherapy techniques including the endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty. Dr Gupta is strongly committed to teaching and training for advanced endoscopy, participating in national and international endoscopic ultrasound training programs, and he strives to optimise patient outcomes using minimally invasive techniques. Dr Gupta is an Executive Committee member of the Endoscopy Faculty with the Gastroenterology Society of Australia (GESA). He is a Clinical Senior Lecturer with the Australian National University Faculty of Medicine and Psychology and is a frequent invited presenter at national and international meetings.
