Simon Hume

Dr Simon Hume is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist working at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and Austin Health. He is undertaking a PhD with the University of Melbourne. His thesis focuses on personalising the nucleos(t)ide analogue stop strategy in patients with chronic hepatitis B, aiming for functional cure.
