Tharani Senavirathna is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Precision Health, School of Medical and Health Sciences, Edith Cowan University, Joondalup, in Professor Wei Wang's group. Her research focuses on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), with a particular interest in the role of nutraceuticals. Tharani explores innovative treatments to mitigate liver pathology, particularly through the therapeutic potential of ellagic acid in a NASH mouse model.
