Dr Yasmina Tashkent

Dr Yasmina Tashkent obtained fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, in 2022. She studied medicine at Flinders University and completed her Advanced Gastroenterology training in South Australia, training at Flinders Medical Centre, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and The Lyell McEwin Hospital. She has Conjoint Committee Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy).

Yasmina works at Flinders Medical Centre in the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department. She is a published author in international peer-reviewed journals and is a PhD candidate at Flinders University investigating the role of the microbiome in metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease.
