Peter Wu

Peter completed his specialist training in adult gastroenterology at St George Hospital (Sydney, Australia) in 2014. He was awarded a PhD (UNSW) in 2018 for thesis where he investigated several novel diagnostic and therapeutic tools in the management of dysphagia disorders. In 2019, Peter undertook a third-space endoscopy fellowship at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Chinese University of Hong Kong. During the same year, he commenced several ongoing collaborative research projects evaluating a novel endoscopic procedure (C-POEM) as a treatment for neuromyogenic dysphagia resulting in cricopharyngeal dysfunction. He is the director of the St George Motility Services, and a senior lecturer (conjoint) at the University of NSW.
