Samantha Plush

Sam is a gastroenterology dietitian with 15 years of clinical experiences having completed her Master of Nutrition and dietetics at Flinders University. Sam has a worked both in the metro and rural tertiary health services as well as within the private sector. Gaining skills working with both Adults and Children, Sam found her passion for gastroenterology dietetics. Sam is currently the senior gastroenterology dietitian at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, working within the functional gastrointestinal disorders clinic. She is known in the unit for her baking prowess and being fussy about good coffee. Sam is a PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide focusing on advanced anthropometric assessment techniques, body composition and metabolic requirement in patients with inflammatory bowel disease under the supervision of A/Prof Rob Bryant, Dr Alice Day and Prof Saravana Kumar.
